Born in 1980 in the Black Country, UK, Harp moved to Staffordshire at the age of five and has felt at home there ever since. He's a proud father of three beautiful children who are an inspiration and motivation to write children’s stories. He gained a BSc in Theoretical Physics from University of Birmingham and is still wondering how! He loves playing and watching sports when his wife allows. A budding witch called Frigity attends an enchanted school for promising witches in the mystical land of Flume. Frigity would be the first to admit she is not the most naturally gifted witch student to have stepped into the renowned witch school, but nevertheless, Frigity tries her best.
If truth be known, before aspiring witches don their first witch dress, prior to proudly receiving their pointy black hats, before envisaging their first successful magic spell or before imagining mixing their first potion, every hopeful witch fantasises of the day she takes flight on her very own broomstick.
For a young witch, nothing is more rewarding than to fly high into the sky amongst the fluffy clouds and let the world pass them by far below, BUT NOTE, not all witch broomsticks are made the same! Just like people, each flying broomstick has its own personality. The majority are nice, some are stubborn, a few are nasty and a handful have a wicked sense of humour. Some broomsticks are painfully slow through the air and others are blurringly fast.
The auspicious day had finally arrived when the ebullient witches attending witch school are going to be presented with their long awaited witch brooms. Will Frigity the witch receive the flying broomstick of her dreams or will she be handed her worst nightmare? Throw in a hungry monster who loves to eat witches for breakfast, dinner or supper, Frigity is once again involved in another marvellous adventure.
Throughout the year, Santa’s little elves, who happen to be the ingenious, talented and brilliant artificers of toy-making, toil away in secret in their toy production barn in the North Pole. They bring joy to millions of children on Christmas morning with their hand-made gifts. Santa has noticed a dramatic increase in the number of good children over the past few years which is evident by his ever-growing well-behaved children list. Surely, good news. BUT not for the overworked elves! It now means more toys have to be made resulting in sore hands, tired feet and itchy bottoms. This worrying trend of burgeon little angels must come to a halt; something needs to be done! A plan has to be deviously hatched to restore the balance between good and misbehaved children of the world. Santa’s naughty little elves set out to achieve just that… As long as the rounded man who wears a red suite, has a fluffy white beard and occasionally says "HO HO HO” doesn’t get to find out! SSSHHHHH!!!
A witch who’s good at mixing potions is a useful witch!
All promising witches must acquire the knowledge of potions and their use, whether it’s for treating natural ailments such as warts, fungal-infested toes or gassy stomachs to transforming obnoxious people to frogs. However, care is needed in the potions class because mixing the wrong potions together may result in catastrophe i.e. blowing up the school along with everyone in it!

Poor skunk, through no fault of his own but by nature’s little joke on him, lets off an awful smell from time to time that makes you wish you did not have a nose in the first place.
The skunk’s awful smell scares away everything who has the misfortune of being within the smelling range, and more importantly, it puts an abrupt stop to play.
